This Summer and Fall marks the beginning of the election cycle with the General Election Primaries on August 11th followed by the Tribal Elections August 18th. The Primaries now carry into General Elections November 3, 2020. Can you register to vote early by registering and also applying for absentee ballot by mail as well as, vote in person early starting September 18th at your County Courthouses.
It's time to take back our power. This is the year of the 2020 census, and that will impact tribal funding throughout our reservation and beyond. Fill out that census ! And, let's vote.
Nationally, Native people are winning elections and determining the future of politics in our territories and states. Minnesota's first Lieutenant Governor is from White Earth- Peggy Flanagan, and it's time to make sure that our people are voting. This year, more than ever, it's time to show our power at the polls- for more information.
Honor the Earth wants to ensure you have your say in White Earth and in Washington with our early registration campaign.
We will be assisting tribal members with Curbside Registration. We will be offering stickers and yard signs for our visiting voters plus more.
